Professional Summary

I’m Rodrigo Ladeira, an Embedded Systems Expert with over 15 years of experience developing high-impact electronic products across sectors such as micromobility, agriculture, industry, consumer electronics, security, and other areas that demand robust and innovative engineering solutions.

My core expertise lies in the full development cycle of embedded systems — from circuit design to low-level firmware programming in C/C++, using both RTOS and bare-metal approaches. I’ve led projects involving microcontrollers, wireless communication (BLE, LTE-M/NB-IoT, 915 MHz), power management, and sensor integration. I’m particularly passionate about building reliable, efficient, and scalable solutions that solve real-world problems.

I hold a degree in Electronic Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (USP), widely recognised as a top engineering institution in Latin America and an MBA in Business Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from FIA. This combination of technical depth and strategic vision allows me to align technology development with broader business objectives.

Currently, I serve as Head of Research and Development at Tembici, the leading micromobility company in Latin America. At Tembici, we have developed the entire bike-sharing system in-house — covering everything from the mechanical structure of the bikes, electronic locking systems, and on-board embedded devices, to the backend infrastructure, APIs, user-facing mobile apps, and operations platforms. Our work combines engineering, design, data intelligence, and sustainability to power urban mobility in major cities.
